Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain the surgical area, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use.
Manage patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Utilize appropriate aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a clean environment.
Document patient information accurately and maintain organized records.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and post-operative care.
Stay updated on dental terminology, and clinic systems to enhance efficiency.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting practices with experience.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Ability to understand and utilize dental terminology accurately.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and equipment.
Requirements
Must be reliable and have reliable transportation
Be willing to travel to multiple offices per day
Have an active RDA license and BLS
