TEAM LEAD/SUPERVISOR for Weatherization Crew in Austin, Texas
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in HVAC Ductwork and Blowing Insulation for homes
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in Duct and Plenum design & build
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a schedule and daily plan to complete home weatherization projects
Work and lead a crew on daily tasks.
Ability to work outdoors, in attics and confined spaces during hot summers.
Ensure production schedule is met according to published time schedule
Interpret work orders and confirm parts orders for each job
Attic prep and blow insulation
Demo existing ductwork
Document and interpret all weatherization metrics prior to inspection
Pass final inspections according to directives
Perform air leakage testing and report measurements with photos to Operations Director
Ensures each job complies with codes and obligations or restrictions according to AE rules
Ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50lbs
Punctual, professional, organized, responsible, respectful, and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Construction, Sheetrock, plumbing and AC skills
Proficiency in Spanish - Candidates need a valid driver's license
Good driving record.
Hourly Pay.
Monday-Friday, year-round work
