The Facility Technician III is a senior position that performs general, advanced, and professional-grade maintenance in the areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance on the industrial sites. This position will coordinate repairs with other Facility Technicians and vendors and assist with training new technicians.
High School Diploma or its equivalent;
Three years electrical or mechanical maintenance experience in industrial maintenance.
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
With one of the following, the demonstrated familiarity with or ability to: The operational characteristics, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems OR the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and replacement and repair.
Ability to operate a lift and forklift.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction in English.
Four years hands on and/or two years of trades training or more.
Ability to demonstrate proper repair techniques in electrical controls.
Ability to demonstrate mechanical maintenance and in depth knowledge of component identification.
Valid Class C Driver’s License
Safe driving history for the past three years
