We install HVAC filters on the roofs of commercial buildings therefore you must be good with heights. If you are not comfortable working near the edge of a flat roof, then this is not for you.
In need of a mature, hard worker to step in as my lead installer and driver. You and a helper will use a rope to get boxes of air filters onto the roof to be changed out. You will then remove the dirty filters from the HVAC units, install new ones, and then box and remove the dirty filters from the roof. HVAC experience is not a prerequisite but will be considered during the hiring process. The work is not hard but is very fast paced so you must have a good work ethic to keep up.
For this position, you must be able to pull and back a 16' trailer and have a decent driving record. Please do not reply if you cannot back a trailer as this will be one of the first things checked on your first day of work. Once you are trained and take over as lead installer, you will be allowed to drive the truck home each day.
You are paid for a full 8-hour work day even though most days you will be finished in about 5-6 hours. A 40-hour week at $17 per hour is $680. If you divide $680 into a 30-hour work week, you are making $22.67/hour for actual time worked.
