We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to oversee field operations, ensure high-quality workmanship, and drive projects to successful completion. The Mechanical Superintendent will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all mechanical construction activities on site
Coordinate and supervise crews, subcontractors, and daily work assignments
Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Maintain project schedule; monitor progress and resolve delays proactively
Enforce site safety policies and OSHA regulations; lead safety meetings and inspections
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and inspectors
Review materials, equipment needs, and ensure timely delivery to site
Track productivity, progress, and prepare daily/weekly reports
Identify and troubleshoot project challenges
Ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, equipment installation, and construction practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or trade certification preferred
