The Parts Clerk received and issues parts and supplies and organizes and maintains inventory records for all parts stock, ensuring the stock level does not fall below minimum levels. This position also maintains a computer database of all part numbers and enters information such as manufacturer, vehicle maintenance reporting standards (VMRS) codes and warranty details and communicates with suppliers and maintenance departments regarding order status, delivery times and shipping information.
High school diploma or its equivalent;
At least one year of experience in automotive parts or heavy equipment retail;
Must be able to be forklift-certified by the company;
Should have strong inventory and data entry skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced work environment; and
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook;
Diesel mechanical background; and
P1 and/or P2 ASE Certification.
Valid Class C driver’s license; and
Safe driving for the past three years.
