We are seeking a Production Lead to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers. We are seeking for a Mail Lead to bring his or her office organizational prowess, expert attention to detail, service orientation and highly motivated drive to provide high quality office management as the Mail Insert Operator Lead in Austin, TX. Additionally, the Shop Lead should be an excellent communicator in person and over email, phone and video calls as well as remain flexible to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of operating digital presses and setting up / imposing various types of print jobs through automated workflows
Candidates from information technology (IT) and/or managed print services (MPS) work environments are preferred
Strong awareness of safety aspects of position due to exposure to moving mechanical parts
Must occasionally lift up and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to visually operate equipment and inspect work (color, print quality)
Must be able to hear auditory alarms, speak, concentrate, analyze, and solve complex issues throughout the course of the workday
Ability to work on a personal computer (PC) including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for extended periods throughout the course of the workday
Must be able to read and comprehend equipment functionality and instructions throughout the course of the workday
Ability to perform basic routine equipment maintenance on copier equipment (clear jams etc.)
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, kneel and crouch throughout the course of the workday.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
