What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking detail-oriented, tech-savvy Property Inspectors to support our hospitality operations in the Austin market. Ideal candidates will be dependable, have their own transportation, and be available throughout the busy summer season (June 1st through October).
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in ensuring homes are guest-ready, enjoys working independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in helping us deliver elevated guest experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct thorough home inspections before guest check-in to ensure quality standards are met
Confirm homes are clean, staged, and fully stocked with required amenities
Identify and document any damages, maintenance issues, or missing inventory
Perform basic rental maintenance tasks such as changing accessible lightbulbs, skim the pool, sweep up entry ways, tighten toilet seats,tightening loose screws on furniture, door handles, or cabinet hardware, staging outdoor furniture, replacing HVAC filters, resetting wifi routers, dusting/wiping down surfaces, etc.
Use mobile apps to upload inspection reports and photos
Coordinate with local operations and housekeeping teams to resolve on-site issues
Occasionally assist with small item deliveries (e.g., linens, propane tanks, or toiletries)
What You’ll Bring:
Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and presentation
Comfort using mobile technology and apps for reporting and communication
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Weekend availability is required to support guest turnover and peak demand
Availability from June 1st through October
Experience in hospitality, property management, or housekeeping is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
This is a 1099 contractor position. Pay ranges from $25 to $50 per inspection, depending on the size of the home and scope of the inspection.
