We are currently seeking a Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the manufacturing facility, including but not limited to helping with metal and wood product assembly, operating machinery, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting overall shop operations. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly of metal and wood components to produce finished products
Operate machinery and equipment under supervision
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop area
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Support other team members as needed to ensure efficient production processes
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Basic understanding of hand tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Team player with a positive attitude
