The TxAlloy Driver delivers loads to customers or other locations as directed by the supervisor and operates the assigned vehicle in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures and in adherence with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
At least one year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience and/or specialized training Excellent heavy truck driving skills;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to perform basic math functions;
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records;
Ability to independently operate end-dump trailers;
Reliable transportation; and
Available to work scheduled shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL);
Safe driving for the past five years; and
Valid medical card or the ability to obtain one.
