Service Technician- Flooring and Furniture Cleaning
We have an IMMEDIATE need for a part-time Service Technician in our Austin, TX office. GBS Group, Inc. was formed in 1979 and operates full service offices in Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Illinois. We are a unique company specializing in office interior restoration and maintenance. We are one of the largest independent certified textile service companies in the United States. Our services include: carpet, furniture, tile, concrete, natural stone, vinyl, and wood floor cleaning.
Service Technicians perform duties that include the cleaning and restoration of commercial office interior assets.
Qualifications
This is a part time position
Speak and write in English
Service technician must be able to work Saturday and Sunday during the day, Friday evening as needed.
You will learn customer service and technical trades
$20.50 per hour starting pay and compensation is based on cleaning production
Excellent compensation pay. Compensation is based on cleaning production and each project has a set hourly budget.
Service Technician Responsibilities
Operating of flooring equipment including extractors and buffing machines at different client sites.
Perform flooring and furniture cleaning services at different client sites
Responsible for cleanliness and care of company vehicles.
Account for and return all cleaning tools, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the job.
Uphold all company policies and procedures.
Must possess a positive attitude.
Always provide customers with exceptional service and adherence to professional conduct.
Job Requirements
Able to move and/or lift 50 lbs (avg).
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record.
Positive Attitude
Must speak English
Candidates will be required to pass a drug test, motor vehicle record and criminal background check.
