Job description
A personal injury law firm located off Capital of Texas Highway in West Austin is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant, preferably bilingual in Spanish, with prior experience in personal injury law, but willing to train the right candidate. The position entails answering a multi-line phone system, greeting clients, setting up claims with insurance companies, filing paperwork, assisting clients with scheduling medical appointments, ordering and reviewing medical records, drafting demand letters, and other related tasks. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word, have strong writing and editing skills, and exhibit the following qualities: meticulous, with great attention to detail, punctual, professional, and have a friendly and positive attitude.
Pay is $16 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
