The Project Assistant in our Austin office requires an organized and diligent self-starter. This position supports attorneys and paralegals within the Public Finance practice area. This individual is responsible for assisting with maintaining and managing bond transcripts, preparing document packages for City/County/School District meetings, document preparation, processing, compiling and organizing large volumes of documents and other administrative matters.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assemble paper transcripts; scan and prepare electronic transcripts
Prepare files for offsite storage
Maintain and distribute department calendar
Prepare quarterly reports
Assist with preparation of document packages for City/County/School/District matters
Organize and process large volumes of documents
Locate and retrieve requested files
Assist with special projects
Filing and other administrative duties
Additional responsibilities or special projects, as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum one year experience within a professional environment
Strong grammar and spelling accuracy essential
Must be reliable, resourceful and organized
Experience working as part of a team to bring about successful outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reading and writing familiarity with Spanish language and understanding of name pronunciations
Highly organized and skilled at prioritizing tasks
Ability to interact well with coworkers, lawyers and paralegals
Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
