Plant Health: we strive to offer lush, healthy plants. Keeping the store in shape with full, healthy foliage is our main priority.
Day to day duties + different tasks on any given day
-Sales Floor Operations: Is a constant presence on the sales floor helping customers. Is actively selling Plant Party products and services.
-Maintains an aesthetically appealing store by keeping it clean, clutter-free, and by making sure it is a warm and welcoming place to shop.
-Greeting customers, helping them find what they’re looking for in a helpful, courteous way.
-Process, price and place products on floor.
-Clean, sweep and tidy from planting, classes and messes made in between tasks through the day.
-Preparing for classes and occasional offsite events.
- Process orders for Deliveries, shipping and gathering supplies for classes, rentals throughout the week.
-Lifting plants into U-Haul, transporting them from shop to onsite events.
-Keeping track of plant inventory
-Help with watering plants
Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to stock the store and to do carry-outs for customers. This is a semi-active role which requires you might be on your feet for the at least half your shift some day and sitting during other slow times.
Position is open to a future full time position: weekends will be required for full time opportunity
Knowledge of basic plant care is necessary, but no experts needed, we will train the right person.
Must be available during the week between 11-7p.
