We have a new opening with our Finishing group for a full-time employee with some experience, most likely it will be painting. Finishing is the second step in our production process, after Fabrication and followed Completion, in which products are assembled, wired, and shipped. We have two general types of Finishes - paints and patinas. We apply paint by sprayer only and have a nice paint booth. Darkening/patinas are done by dipping and burnishing. We will train you to do darkening/patina of copper, brass, and zinc.
We work primarily with copper, brass, and galvanized steel, as well as stainless steel, zinc, and aluminum sheet metals. We weld steel and aluminum, too. And we work with various bar stocks and tubing.

Pay rate begins at $17.25/hr, paid bi-weekly.

Required qualifications include:
Experience painting.
Some Spanish.
Desired qualifications include:
Fluency in Spanish.
Experience with patinas and metal finishing.
Experience with bondo and putty.
You’ll need:
A completed job application, including references.
Basic skills in math, reading, and writing (English).
To be ok standing for long periods.
To be able to do physical labor - lifting and moving heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Reliable transportation.
To be ok with occasional overtime as needed.
To be a US citizen or be authorized to work in the US.
