Independently diagnose, prioritize, repair, and maintain equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, including dryers, granulators, conveyors, ovens, cyclones, and loaders. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, including addressing oil leaks. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement machine performance improvements. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and extend its lifespan.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using a computer-based maintenance system. Perform basic building maintenance tasks, such as A/C filter and condensate line maintenance, light bulb and ballast replacement, water filter changes, and minor system repairs.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in polymer processing equipment maintenance.
