QC Inspector (Georgetown)
Position Summary
Our company is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Manufacturing, to help us ensure our products meet quality standards to drawings. As part of this role, you will use inspection equipment.
Serve as primary quality representative to support design and manufacturing processes
Review, interpret, and communicate drawing, product, or process related details between Production and Engineering
Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products.
Participates in functional testing and/or inspection of equipment and systems
Track daily progress of Production’s adherence to quality standards and communicate solutions to correct deviations. Also, report
to Operations when deviations affect schedule.
May perform incoming material/part inspection. May generate nonconformance, material rejections and corrective action reports,
as well as communicating final acceptance test reports with customers.
Generate and maintain files of all quality and as-built information for each product.
Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.
Minimum Requirements :
Strong work ethic: Be willing to work OT as needed to meet tight deadlines.
Experience: Knowledge of G-code & M code.
Must display a stable and dependable work history.
Knowledge of Mastercam works is a plus.
Other job Details:
35-45hr work week. (Some OT required depending on workload)
Must speak, understand, and write English.
Have reliable transportation.
Compensation: Salary Negotiable based on Experience
