Opportunity to work with a premier company in Georgetown, TX Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match Paid holidays and vacationWhat’s a typical day as a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor?You’ll be: Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Studying shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet schedules Ensuring conformance to shipping procedures, including load sheets, pick lists, staging, auditing, and carrier communication Scheduling vacations, overtime, and training for shipping personnel Communicating with Customer Service and Production Scheduling as required Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse on a daily basis Verifying inventories and participating in physical inventories Acting as a back-up for shipping clerk Ensuring compliance with CTPAT and Dock Lock procedures Keeping returnable areas clean and organized Performing daily safety walk-throughs Monitoring returnable packaging and maintaining inventory in Parts+ and customer portalsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) \Have Forklift driving experience.
