Description

- About the Program: Movement Labs is hiring Organizing Fellows for our Beers & Ballots initiative! As a Fellow, you will join Beers & Ballots staff and volunteers at bars showing football games for swing state teams, then buy patrons a drink who help mobilize their swing state friends to vote.

About the Role:

- As a Fellow, you will be responsible for canvassing, recruiting, training, and managing of a team of volunteers. This position is up to 40 hours a week. Pay is $20 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage bar patrons.

- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.

- Hit targets given by the Field Organizer.

- Track and report accurate data.

- Support the overall effort of the Beers & Ballots field operations.

- Others duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Passion for civic engagement and political activism.

- Previous canvassing experience preferred, or total fearlessness around strangers and extreme extroversion.

- Friendly with a "Can-Do" attitude.

- Previous leadership and recruitment experience desired.

- Ability to work evenings and weekends is a must.

- Experience in political campaign or advocacy work is a plus.
