Construction company seeks a highly professional tax accountant to accurately and promptly provide tax accounting services and advice on an as needed basis Candidate may work remotely but occasionally must provide services onsite.
Primary Duties:
Prepare tax provisions, schedules, returns, payments and reports
Maintain the company’s tax database
Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations
Accurately prepare and file quarterly and annual tax reports
Provide tax advice as needed
Prepare tax calculations
File tax extensions when appropriate
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong business and personal tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws as evidenced by 10 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns
Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation
Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
