YouTube Video Editor (& Assistant)

This position’s primary focus is to assist with editing YouTube videos on an as-needed basis.

We also are looking for a part-time house manager and assistant. The purpose is to create an organized and supportive environment for our businesses. The role is also a support role for the owner, to help her stay organized and on-task as she supports her clients and potential customers.

Daily tasks as an assistant: packing items for shipping, keeping an aquarium warehouse functional, tidying and cleaning the home and home offices, watering plants, some lawn care, making calls, errands, data entry, meal prep and cooking (optional), walking dogs, cat sitting.

This role is primarily in-person at a private residence, yet if your skills and experience match in additional areas (listed below), there will be some virtual hours (only on an as-needed basis). This is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week for the first 1-2 months. More hours (up to 32-36) are available after a probationary period. Ultimately, over the long-term, we are potentially looking for someone to eventually take over certain parts of the business and become salaried.

Basic, required skills:

Ability to communicate in a professional tone and manner via telephone, e-mail, and in-person

Good command of English spelling, grammar, and usage

Ability to switch between working independently with little-to-no supervision, to conversely being okay with following very specific instructions

Above all, reliable and organized
