Our client is an Austin based 50 person software company looking to add a IT Director to the new compliance team. They are one of the fastest growing digital carries, looking to completely dismantle traditional logistics using their shipping platform. In 2020 they did over 50 million dollars in revenue and are rapidly expanding.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a senior contributing role and be comfortable with SOC2 and ISO compliance. Experience with IT Systems and project management will be strongly desired. This person will be starting a new team with individual contributions for the first year followed by the hiring of a few engineers. With reporting to the Head of Product/Engineering you will be responsible for growing and operationalizing different departments.
Required Skills & Experience

• SOC2/ISO compliance
• Senior experience in an IT and or Systems role
• Strong communication skills
• Building tech and permission matrix's across different teams
• Prior experience in a greenfield environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in E-Commerce
• Experience in Linux System Engineer role
