ALCON DTS is seeking a Technical Support Consultant to join our team. In this role, you
will provide assistance on identifying and troubleshooting Computer and Network related problems. You
will be required to have good trouble shooting skills and be able to solve problems quickly and
completely without assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, implement, support and troubleshoot network infrastructure projects.
- Perform server and workstation updates, patches and maintain contact with clients.
- Manage projects and customer expectations to ensure successful project delivery and customer
satisfaction.
- Work closely with team to ensure full support and deployment of managed services.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of physical and logical network infrastructure, security infrastructure and performance
and capacity planning.
- 3+ years experience installing ,configuring and supporting Meraki, Sonicwall, and Ubiquiti network equipment.
- 3+ years experience managing, supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft infrastructures, with
expertise in Microsoft environments.
- 3+ years experience installing, configuring and supporting desktop, laptop and server systems.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Detail oriented.
- Good Communication (Written & Verbal).
Travel Requirement:
- Occasional local travel based on client needs.
- Applicant must have reliable transportation w/ insurance, and current driver's license.
Experience in any of the following technologies a plus:
- VLAN, WiFi, WAN, and Site to Site VPN
- Deploying & configuring Managed Services.
- Active Directory and/or Cloud Services is a plus
