ATX City Lifestyle — a locally owned, community-focused magazine — is looking for a part-time team member to help grow our advertising partnerships.
This is a flexible, relationship-focused role that can range from lead generation and appointment setting to full sales, depending on your experience, comfort level, and availability. Ideal for someone who loves connecting with local business owners and wants to be part of something that’s actually making a difference in the Austin community.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Reach out to local businesses by email, phone, and/or in person (you choose what works)
- Set appointments for our publisher — or close deals yourself, if you’re comfortable
- Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects (CRM access provided)
- Help local businesses grow through print + digital advertising
- Be part of a creative, mission-driven local brand
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who enjoys talking to people — especially small business owners
- Comfortable with outreach (email, DM, phone, face-to-face)
- Organized and self-motivated — you’ll manage your own time
- Knowledge of Austin’s small business scene is a plus
- Sales experience is great, but not required
- You live in or near Austin (this is not a remote role — local knowledge is key)
