Vice President, Operations Business Intelligence Lead (Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) – Austin, TX); Multiple positions available. Responsible for the management and delivery of end to end business solutions to allow for improved business solutions leveraging technology tools such as Business Intelligence tools. Define cross-functional and cross-departmental dependencies and identify key deliverables/milestones and critical path. Partner with the business and technology to proactively manage scope and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes. Develop customized delivery approaches and project plans designed to deliver incremental business value. Drive acceptance and change management as a result of program impacts to the business. Position based in Austin, TX. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, program/product/project management or comparable business experience. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Business Intelligence tools, including data warehousing; PowerBI or a similar tool; Strong understanding of agile project management methodology; Production and management of large datasets; and, Data analysis to identify trends or relationships among variables in a project management capacity.
