Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction and Service
Provide exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships to all clients.
Facilitate seamless and accurate client check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
Meet the needs of the client(s) at all times pre, during, and post-service.
Create a serene and welcoming environment, promoting relaxation and wellness as part of the client experience.
Communication and Scheduling
Answer phones and promptly respond to SMS messages via Phorest scheduling app to schedule appointments, answer client questions, offer client recommendations.
Assist clients in re-booking appointments and promoting referrals.
Product and Service Knowledge
Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and a complete understanding of all spa services offered.
Understand the ingredients in products and explain their benefits to clients; answer questions in a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional manner.
Suggest additional beneficial treatments and upsell products and services.
Operational Excellence
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Understand and use universal precautions when providing services.
Clean and disinfect all equipment daily according to CDC guidelines.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other spa professionals to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
Demonstrate effective associate communication and welfare for new and existing staff as well as other departments at the property and corporate teams.
Retail and Inventory Management
Demonstrate acumen in retail planning, ordering, and inventory management.
Act as an Ambassador for the spa, representing brand values and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders both inside and outside of working hours.
Professionalism and Attitude
Bring a positive and energetic attitude to the workplace.
Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job; upholding the brand’s high standards our client’s expect.
Begin and end all treatments on time.
Technical Expertise
Exceptional shampoo and head massage skills.
Ability to do 15-20 minute blow dry (styling not required).
Impeccable attention to detail with an awareness of time.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed cosmetologist (up to date and valid); 18 years or older
Passion for health and wellness
Previous experience in luxury spa environments preferred
Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere
1-3 years of previous experience in a spa/wellness leadership role
Knowledge of driving revenue and ensuring maximum efficiency of booking channels
Self-starter with a leading-edge collaborative mindset
Strong training skills and aptitude for training program development
Demonstrated leadership skills, by certifications, and/or examples through prior experience
A proactive approach for troubleshooting operational challenges
Positivity and emotional intelligence in dealing with interpersonal relations and client satisfaction
Ability to prioritize tasks to effectively lead others
Proficiency in Phorest software a plus
