At Topaz, we provide a “HOME” that is clean and safe for you and your clients. By implementing the highest standards of sanitation and the use of PPE, we are keeping Austin beautiful.

A “HOME”, well for us the last 14 years we been home to 27+/- of some of the best stylist in Austin, yes we have had a few come and a few go but for the most part our average stylist stays with us for 11 years, we boost low turn over little to no DRAMA and a front desk with over 7 years of experience. Topaz as your HOME for us means a place you like to go too both to work and your individual creative side is not lost yet you are part of something bigger, a place where you walk in and the front desk and everyone in the place is happy to see you, simply stated a work HOME and honestly the success of “you” hinges equally much (if not more?) on good salon, So below is why I like you to consider Topaz as your next home for your next 11 years and beyond

1. Location - S. Lamar/Central, we all know the old proverb about retail "Location, Location, Location" as soon as you look out our front door you understand growing development- condo/apts with over 700 units less than 500 ft from us not to say we share the strip mall with the “A” list of business of the likes of Starbucks, One2one Bar, Darque Tan, and next door to us, Dental 360, Compounding Pharmacy) and Dominos pizza. 2. Parking – Don’t you hate the parting in Austin, in most places it SUCKS, With all this growth, there is always a problem with parking, NOT IN THIS CASE, parking in our private parking lot is more than ample and many times you and your customers can pull up right in front of our door grab a cup of JOE (Starbucks one door down) and walk back all within 60 seconds.

3. Software Online booking (New STX), it's cool, it works flawlessly but if you prefer the more traditional then you do it the way you want, I believe the best front desk people who love what they do and will be happy to support your bookings either way it’s up to you.

4. Open late as well as Mondays, with success comes "BUSY" and sometimes you just need to pull a Monday! or work into the night. As a "booth holder" you choose your hours and days, you get your own key and you come in and leave when you decide.

5. We serve complimentary beverages- Coffee, sodas, beer and wine. We also provide customers with the use of Ipads for free and they can access internet or look for the next new trend in hair.

6. "Austin Vibe Salon" this is the coolest part of Topaz, what do I mean; When you take the very best stylist, an amazing support staff, great location, and good parking. You have VIBE, outward VIBE that's getting noticed, along with our VIBE we are supporting local artists from the artwork in the salon to the band members who get their hair cut right before a gig.

7. "Booth Price", I am not going to make you call to get the prices, I am proud that we are very fair and competitive. We have a few booth options (some with FREE RENT to start) options range from $215.00 to $330.00, but look around we are not over priced at the high end or the low end ( yes we know some of our competitor’s range $380.00-$415.00, we are the mid-range choice, and with efficiencies we don’t have to overprice our offers.

8. In house Education provided with the guidance of Bumble and Bumble for over 14 years, you can choose to engage or hang more back, WE never push product sales, we invite to engage but is on you and your artistry to partake .

9. Great reputation in Austin, see for yourself, YELP/GOOGLE and the others tell the story, we aren't perfect, but we are dam good.

10. Owner, have a hands-off approach. They see it as "YOUR OUR CUSTOMER AND INTURN WE SUPPORT YOU AND YOURS," is not something they take lightly. There not in your business, yet there if you need the help just ask. The salon is run by the group as a whole (your input actually means something) the concept is the island is run by the islanders.
