This enterprise-level IT department is seeking skilled PC Technicians to assist with a 10-month PC/Workstation refresh project. Technicians will replace, configure, and deploy PCs while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and set up new PCs (unbox, rename, register security software).
-Replace old equipment (PCs, monitors, keyboards, and mice).
-Ensure network connectivity (valid IP and pingable).
-Perform data transfers (scripts or manual, if needed).
-Document and properly dispose of old equipment.
Requirements:
-2+ years of IT hardware/software support experience.
-Basic networking knowledge.
-Experience with imaging and replacing PC hardware.
-Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
-Ability to work onsite 5 days/week, 8 hours a day. (North Austin)
