We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Assistant to the Building and Facility Manager to help oversee the maintenance and operations of multiple commercial properties across North Austin, Lakeway, and Round Rock. You’ll spend 50% of your time in the office handling administrative tasks and 50% traveling to properties to check on repairs, ensure quality control, and support the maintenance team. While this role is primarily administrative, some hands-on repair and maintenance work may be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Administrative & Data Entry – Maintain maintenance records, update repair tickets in the system, and ensure accurate documentation.
✅ Quality Control & Site Visits – Travel to properties to inspect completed maintenance and repair work.
✅ Vendor & Maintenance Coordination – Communicate with contractors, track work orders, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
✅ Scheduling & Communication – Proactively manage your schedule, coordinate with teams, and provide regular updates.
✅ Hands-On Repairs & Troubleshooting – Occasionally assist with repairs or maintenance tasks when necessary.
✅ Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Stay flexible and proactive in ensuring building repairs and maintenance are efficiently handled.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of maintenance experience (facility maintenance, construction, or building repair).
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, data entry, and database management).
Excellent communication & organizational skills – Ability to interact professionally with teams and vendors.
Go-getter mindset – Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative.
Construction & Building Maintenance Knowledge – Familiarity with commercial building maintenance, remodeling, or repair.
Flexibility & Drive to Learn – Willing to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment.

Travel: 35% site visits across North Austin, Lakeway, and Round Rock (Company vehicle provided)
