We are a growing steel fabrication shop in Georgetown TX, and looking to add to our dynamic team. We are in search of a helper with fabrication experience. We build staircases, gates, handrail and fences, with mainly steel, but some wood construction. We have specialty fabrication equipment for building these items in the shop. We are willing to train the right person, if they posses the basic skills, as we have over 100 years of combined experience. Time management and efficiency are highly valued traits. The ideal candidate will posses some/all of the following skills.
Ideal Qualities:
- Ability to read tape measure
- Experience with power tools (grinder/saws)
- MIG or Stick welding experience
- Reliable transportation/ Texas drivers liscense
- Desire to accumulate fabrication skills
- CAD or Drafting cxperience
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Organizational skills
- Desire to learn and grow
- Attention to detail
- Self starting ability
