Responsibilities:
Safely transport furniture to and from clients’ location and our workshop.
Assist in loading and unloading items, ensuring all deliveries are conducted promptly and professionally.
Work closely with experienced upholsterers to prepare materials and tools.
Assist in stripping old upholstery, cutting fabrics, and assembling upholstered pieces.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring all necessary materials are in stock.
Receive and organize deliveries of fabric, foam, and other upholstery supplies.
Conduct regular inventory checks and report shortages or excesses.
Qualifications:
Fluent in Spanish and English language
Previous experience in upholstery, furniture repair, or a related field is a plus.
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Schedule:
- Part time (hourly)
- Hours are flexible between 10:00am-4:00pm on weekdays
- Minimum of 4 hours a day
