We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Restoration Handyman (Jack of All Trades) to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Handyman, you will be at the forefront of our projects, working hands-on to restore and renovate properties to their former glory or to achieve a fresh, new look. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently and professionally in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Some tasks include drywall repair, painting, siding, fascia, glazing bead, replacing window screens, installing gutter guards, and other projects assigned by management.
Assess and address structural and aesthetic issues in properties, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Work well with project manager and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materials and debris.
Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
Experience required.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the trade.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate clearly when providing direction to helper(s) and co-workers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability and desire to work overtime as needed, including some Saturdays.
Bilingual is a plus but must speak English.
Ability to work on single- and two-story roofs on occasion.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Drywall repair/replacement including texture.
Experience Prep & Painting.
Experience with fascia and siding repair/replacement.
Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
