Job Description:
We are a growing pedicab company in Austin, TX, seeking a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our fleet of pedicabs. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for bikes and hands-on experience in mechanical repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance on pedicabs, including brake adjustments, tire changes, and chain lubrication.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure all pedicabs are in excellent working condition.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
Ensure the safety and reliability of the pedicabs for our drivers and passengers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bike mechanic or in a similar mechanical role.
Strong knowledge of bike components and repair techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
