ABA Appliance, Inc. is looking for an HVAC Installation helper to join our team. We have had success in training our employees and helping them develop their career in the HVAC field. This is a good way to get your foot in the door without the expense of schooling. We will cover the costs for you to become a registered tech with the TDLR and for your EPA License
Requirements:
-Clean Valid Drivers License (cannot be expired)
- Positive Attitude
-Ability to work in extreme heat
- Pass a Background Check
- Basic Mechanical knowledge (ability to use a drill, hand tools, etc)
- Have or be willing to acquire basic hand tools
- Some HVAC experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Drive large truck to and from the job site
- Help clean and maintain a well-stocked vehicle
-Assist your lead in remove old HVAC equipment and ductwork and installing new
-Keeping jobsite clean
- Communicating with clients
- Begin to learn how to wire/solder/ and seal duct work
Pay is DOE we have hourly pay scales and commission. On an annual basis most full-time helpers make $50k-$60k per year. Depending on your ability to learn most helpers switch to become technicians or lead installer within 2 summers and make $80k-$100k
