The Facility Technician III is a senior level position that performs general, advanced and professional-grade maintenance in the areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance on the industrial sites. This position will coordinate repairs with other Facility Technicians and vendors and assist with training new technicians.
High school diploma or its equivalent
Three years electrical or mechanical maintenance experience in industrial maintenance.
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
With one of the following, the demonstrated familiarity with or ability to:
The operational characteristics, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems
The operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and replacement and repair
Ability to operate a lift and forklift
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Four years hands on and/or two years of trades training or more
Ability to demonstrate proper repair techniques in electrical controls
Ability to demonstrate mechanical maintenance and in depth knowledge of component identification
Valid Class C driver’s license
Record of safe driving for the last three years
