Job Description
Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in utility road work settings, including street lighting, traffic signals, and other related infrastructure
Installs, tests, repairs, and replaces conduits, ducts, transformers, electrical and electronic circuits,
Conducting inspections and assessments of electrical components and systems to identify and address issues
Collaborating with construction and maintenance teams to ensure the proper integration of electrical systems within road projects
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, particularly in the context of road work environments
Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with regulations and standards
Job Requirements:
Valid electrician's license
Proven experience in utility-related electrical work within the context of road construction and maintenance
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components relevant to road infrastructure
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to road-based electrical systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in road work environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions typically encountered in road construction and maintenance
