Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Material Handler/Forklift Operators in Austin, TX for immediate hire!
PAY: $25 hour
HOURS: 40+
DURATION: 6+ months
START DATE: ASAP
Material Handler Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks and verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts to move and stack materials
Build pallets and prepare them for shipment according to specific guidelines.
Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist in inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role is preferred
Prior construction experience
Experience operating a forklift
Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Experience with clamp trucks or cherry pickers is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
Additional requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check
