Summary
As a Plumber at Trade Management, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various construction projects. This role is vital to our mission of providing exceptional skilled labor that meets the high standards of our clients.
Responsibilities
Install and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Install, maintain, and repair chilled water systems and associated plumbing in commercial buildings.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cooling towers, ensuring optimal system performance.
Work with cast iron piping to complete installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance with precision.
Install and repair copper lines, including making precise offsets to navigate around discrepancies or obstacles.
Use your expertise to create pipe offsets and workarounds when faced with difficult layouts or misalignments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project efficiency.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a commercial plumber, with expertise in chilled water systems, cooling towers, cast iron piping, copper lines, and pipe offsets.
Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting chilled water systems and cooling towers.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cast iron piping installations and repairs.
Proficiency in working with copper lines, including making accurate offsets to navigate discrepancies and challenging layouts.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid plumbing license and relevant certifications (preferred).
Commitment to safety and adherence to plumbing codes and regulations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
