About Us:
We are a professionally managed retail shopping center seeking a reliable and skilled On-Site Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the center remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for our tenants and customers.
Position Overview:
The On-Site Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily upkeep of the property, responding to maintenance requests, performing minor repairs, coordinating with property manager, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the shopping center.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete routine inspections of the property, including common areas, roofs, lighting, landscaping, signage, and parking lot conditions
Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general building repairs
Maintain cleanliness of exterior common areas, including trash pickup, pressure washing, and removal of debris
Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies reported by property manager
Oversee contractors performing larger repairs and verify completion of work
Maintain inventory of supplies, materials, and keys for vacant units and/or any master keys in lock box to access all units
Ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies
Provide after-hours on-call support as needed
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience required; commercial or retail property experience preferred
Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors as needed
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
