Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our team. This role includes installing window film on both vehicles and flat glass surfaces such as commercial buildings, residential homes, and storefronts. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering exceptional results and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Automotive Tinting:
Install automotive window film to customer specifications using professional tools and techniques.
Cut film patterns by hand or use plotter-based software and equipment.
Ensure clean, bubble-free, and wrinkle-free installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tint bay and tools.
Architectural (Flat Glass) Tinting:
Measure and prep flat glass surfaces in residential and commercial settings.
Safely install solar control, privacy, decorative, and security films on interior and exterior windows.
Use ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment when required (training provided).
Communicate with clients or project managers on-site to ensure satisfaction.
General:
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment when needed.
Maintain quality control standards and minimize waste.
Handle film with care and store properly to avoid damage.
Assist with shop maintenance and vehicle prep as needed.
Qualifications:
1+ years of window tinting experience (automotive and/or flat glass preferred).
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working on ladders and in variable weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with Llumar, 3M, or other premium film brands.
Experience with plotters or computer-cut film systems.
Knowledge of basic construction tools and measurements for architectural jobs.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
