We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment specific to wood manufacturing. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of machinery critical to meeting facility goals for safety, quality, and production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, test, and maintain wood production equipment for preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery or equipment.
- Perform repairs or replace components on industrial machinery (e.g., forklifts, trucks, and wood-related equipment).
- Conduct preventative maintenance on systems such as air compressors, forklift batteries, and dust collection systems.
- Read and follow manufacturer manuals for proper equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of parts, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with the production team in a fast-paced environment to address maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English.
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and equipment repair, preferably in wood production or similar industries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Must be flexible to work both 1st and 2nd shifts as needed and provide coverage across the Manor and Howard locations.
