In search of a delicate and reliable driver to help out part time as needed to deliver flowers in an Austin area. We pay $14 for each delivery and if it’s extended we pay $24. We use a few drivers on rotation and in need of an additional driver for the busier days. We will text you in the morning or day before if we already know we are having a busy day and in need help. Arrival to pick up flowers is normally 12:30pm and you can be out doing deliveries until 6pm. It is important to have a flexible schedule, be very careful with the fragile flower arrangements and have a positive attitude. At most you would deliver 10 arrangements in one day, sometimes maybe just 4. Some days we don’t need you and some weeks maybe we will ask you to work everyday. We are not open on the weekends except Mother’s Day and Valentines Day. Payment is done using a 1099 as you will be an independent contractor. Our other drivers are either semi-retired or have another job working evenings at a restaurant. You will use your own car and gas.
