We are a mortuary transportation company that works for local funeral homes and Justices of the Peace in our area.
Job Description:
-Removal of decedents from place of death and transporting to funeral home or medical examiner's office
-Communicating professionally and proficiently with families, law enforcement, and nursing staff
- Position is for Nights and Weekends; 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week
Job Requirements:
-Must be 21 years of age
-Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
-Clean driving record a must with minimum 2 years of driving experience
-No criminal background preferred
-Must be available nights and weekends
-Must have reliable transportation to and from office in Hutto
-Bi-lingual a plus but not required
-Must not be squeamish due to nature of job duties
-Experience in medical field preferred but not required
-Must have good communication skills and good people skills
-Must have reliable cell phone and phone service
-Must be proficient with paperwork and have legible handwriting
-Business casual dress required: ex - dark colored slacks, collared shirts, closed toed shoes only
On-the-job training will be provided, therefore no prior experience necessary.
