Job Title: Van Driver (School-Age Children)
Job Type: Part-Time from 2:30pm to 4:30 pm
Salary: 18 per hour.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious Van Driver to transport school-age children to and from our center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a clean driving record, and a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of young passengers. Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport school-age children to and from our center and other designated locations.
Ensure all children are securely seated and follow safety protocols during transit.
Maintain a clean driving record and vehicle.
Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure proper functioning.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of children.
Communicate with parents and school staff as necessary regarding transportation matters.
Assist children with getting on and off the van and always ensure their safety.
Follow all traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience driving a van, bus, or similar vehicle (preferably with children).
Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and clean vehicle.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Ability to assist children with special needs if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge of school transportation safety guidelines.
