PARKWAY TERRACE APARTMENTS is seeking a hardworking, responsible Onsite Apartment Maintenance Technician to provide periodic maintenance to its our Apartment complexes in Kountze (1) and Silsbee (1). Requires 15-20 hours per week commitment. Please note that maintenance requests will not be constant.
Job Requirements :
Maintenance experience is REQUIRED
Must have experience with Plumbing, Electrical and General Maintenance (Sheetrock repair/painting/handyman skills)
Experience completing maintenance requests, standard renovations and upgrading apartments
Assist with various projects as assigned by Property Manager
Must be willing to be available 6 days a week
Must provide own tools and must have reliable truck (for materials and appliance pick-ups. Gas stipend may be provided)
Demonstrates polite attitude by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services, and completing assigned work orders with efficiency and urgency.
Technician might be required to show an empty Unit to prospective Tenants periodically
Technician should have another job (preferably night shift and be available during the day to respond to maintenance requests).
Technician expected to have proper time management skills
