Job Order: Industrial Mechanic - Brownsville, TX
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain heavy equipment, including cranes.
Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems and components as needed.
Perform planned maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Operate and test repaired equipment to confirm that specifications are met.
Observe general safety rules to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Four (4) years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, terminal tractors, automobiles, top loaders, etc.).
Familiarity with hydraulic systems, diesel engine repairs, and pneumatic and electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematic diagrams.
Tools required to perform equipment maintenance and repair.
Clean MVR and dependable mode of transportation to and from work.
Excellent communication in English; and Spanish is a plus.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
