Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Bulverde, Texas. This role is within the retail and oil chain industries, where you'll be tasked with managing and overseeing the daily operations of multiple companies. Working in a single office environment, you'll utilize your skills in Quickbooks Pro and ADP to handle various accounting tasks.Responsibilities: Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple companies. Utilizing QuickBooks Pro to manage and record various accounting tasks. Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) along with bank reconciliations. Regularly communicating with Tax Accountant to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information. Managing the ADP process, including daily income and hours. Performing administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and making office supply arrangements. Ensuring office operations are running smoothly and in line with company policies. Assisting in other duties as needed to support the efficient operation of the office. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Proven experience in Bookkeeping Proficiency in Data Entry Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close Knowledge of Payroll procedures Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience with Quickbooks Online Experience with QuickBooks Pro Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
