Description We are searching for a parttime Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. In this role, you will manage the financial close process, handle liquidity and GAAP management, and review the accuracy of work done by senior accountants. This role also involves working with NetSuite, and it's crucial that the successful candidate is comfortable with this software. This is a parttime Controller role primarily remote, with some onsite training initially. This will be 1 week a month role (1.5 days a week) but will need to be 3 weeks during year-end.Responsibilities: Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee liquidity management to maintain optimal cash flow Ensure compliance with GAAP in all financial operations Review the work of Senior Accountants for accuracy and completeness Work with NetSuite for various financial processes and operations Support adjusting entries and handle abnormal case scenarios Participate in the design of financial projects and manufacturing processes Understand the interrelation of different financial modules within NetSuite Handle AP/AR entries as part of the job function Interact with operational folks but primarily work within the finance department.Requirements Hold a minimum of 10 years' experience in a financial management role Proficiency in using NetSuite software Extensive experience in month end close processes Proven ability in preparing financial statements Familiarity with recording and maintaining journal entries Demonstrated skill in job costing Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
