We are currently seeking an individual who can take on the role of our V&V Hardware Engineer II. This position requires an individual with experience in verification and validation for hardware designs and familiarity with control system hardware. Duties and Responsibilities: Review of HW documentations such as Requirement Specifications, Design Specifications, Schematics, Bill of Material, Artwork, Wiring and Assembly Diagrams, Logic Drawings and Graphics, PCB Layout, R&D System Integration Test Plans/Specifications/Results and R&D HW Component Test Plans/Specifications/Results to ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. Find design flaws or areas of improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to R&D department based on review findings. Perform all aspects of system testing, including development of test plans, test designs, test cases, write test procedures and be able to execute system level testing. Understand and perform verification evaluation and analysis on HW Safety/Interface/Traceability Collaborate with V&V team to track development through the V&V life cycle, participate in the preparation of V&V lifecycle reports describing the V&V HW Tasks performed and conclusions of the tasks and create an overall summary report. Participate in technical reviews of system/hardware to support R&D development process and ensure technical integrity of the system/hardware deliverables.

Job Details
Experience with system/hardware development lifecycle and tools used in requirement management and configuration management. Experience with analytical engineering hardware/software tools such as logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, function generator, Power Logic Tool and PADS tool or similar software, etc. Proficiency in Circuit Design Familiarity with Parts Interchangeability Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis Good work ethics Proficiency in written and verbal communication Understanding or experience with IEEE Std 1012 Preferred skills but not required: Understanding and experience with EPRI TR-107330 Experience with Verilog/System Verilog/C/QNX/Assembly language is a plus. Education / Experience requirements: B.S. or M.S. in Engineering 2 years of experience as Hardware Engineer or V&V Engineer
