We are looking for a skilled Fence Installer to repair, maintain, and install various types of fences for our clients.
Our ideal candidate is experienced in working with different types of fences, such as wooden privacy on wood and steel posts, chain link, and ornamental iron, and is familiar with the tools and techniques required for post and fence installation and repair.
This person will also be responsible for maintaining our shop and warehouse and inventory/material management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To include, but not limited to:
- Perform fence repairs/replacements using appropriate materials & tools (provided by Ace)
- Install new fences according to client specifications
- Organize and ensure efficient layout of materials in warehouse & yard
- Upkeep and maintenance in warehouse and yard and of materials and equipment
- Direct warehouse & yard operations with crews - assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
- Unload lumber and material deliveries with forklift
- Pick Up / Deliver materials to crews as needed
- Haul materials on trailer with provided truck
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- This job is physically demanding. Individual must be able to work in all weather conditions, ability to lift and/or move 50+lbs and be on your feet for extended lengths of time
- Capable of using basic tools and some more technical tools (auger, hammer drill, etc)
- A firm grasp of relevant math and construction principles
- Capacity to fulfill your duties independently and on time
- Ability to track and maintain inventory
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a respectful and professional manner
- Available full time (min 40-50 hours per week)
